Job Summary:

Under the guidance of the Program Director and the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the coordination, implementation, and administrative duties for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency and fellowship training programs. This role involves significant collaboration with physician faculty, staff, and personnel across the hospital, multiple affiliated sites (including area hospitals, off-site practices, and community practitioners) to ensure ongoing accreditation and compliance with ACGME and hospital standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, implement, and administer the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency and fellowship training programs.
  • Collaborate with physician faculty, staff, and personnel at the hospital and various affiliated sites.
  • Ensure ongoing accreditation and compliance of the program with ACGME and hospital standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the program calendar, including scheduling and tracking important dates.
  • Tabulate and manage data related to program metrics, current residents, and alumni.
  • Utilize key software for tracking and reporting program data to the hospital and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Assist the Program Manager in the daily operations of the training program.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time day shift position, requiring 4 days in-person at our Columbia Hospital location and offering the flexibility for 1 day remote.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Master’s Degree in a related discipline

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, capable of conveying mission and purpose to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse groups.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with diverse community groups.

$66,300 – $89,000 / Annual
