Production Mill Worker (Seasonal/Temporary)
Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary (Vacation Relief)
Duration: Seasonal hires will work full-time from approximately May 1st – September 30th. Students will work as many weeks as their school schedule will allow within these dates.

About the Role
As a Production Mill Worker, you will be an integral part of our mill operations, contributing to a safe working environment and continuous production. This is a hands-on position involving various tasks crucial to the mill’s efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean and safe mill environment by sweeping and shoveling.
- Pulling strips of veneer off a moving chain and stacking them into carts (very physical and repetitive work).
- Feeding strips of veneer into the dryer (very repetitive work).
- Performing the duties of various workstations to allow other employees to receive breaks throughout their shift.
- Assisting with various duties to support the continuous operation of the mill.
Basic Qualifications & Requirements
- Physical Demands: Must be able to continuously stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders safely.
- Lifting Capability: Ability to occasionally lift weights exceeding fifty (50) pounds per normal workday.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work any shift, including Days, Swing, Graveyard, and Relief.
- Pre-employment Checks: Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior production experience.
- A steady work history.
