International Paper is seeking a dedicated and safety-minded individual to join our team as an Entry-level Production Associate at our Russellville Sheetfeeder Facility. This is a full-time, hourly position on our 2nd shift, perfect for someone looking to start a rewarding career in manufacturing. You’ll be part of a team that plays a crucial role in producing high-quality corrugated packaging products.

Position Details

  • Pay Rate: $18.27 per hour, with opportunities for increased pay through our skills program.
  • Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday-Friday) – 2nd shift.
  • Designation: Safety Sensitive Position.

The Job You Will Perform (Responsibilities)

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to our production process. This is an entry-level role with a comprehensive “pay for skills” program designed for you to learn every job on the machine and advance your career. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Loading rolls of paper onto machinery.
  • Counting and accurately stacking finished products.
  • Reading and interpreting factory orders.
  • Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment for quality control.
  • Utilizing basic shop math for measurements and inspections.
  • Completing quality and administrative documents accurately.
  • Following established directions and procedures.
  • Performing clean-up functions, such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap material.
