• Mission: This person owns the execution of the established Group Benefit Solutions product vision and multi-year roadmap across various insurance offerings to drive profitable growth, product performance, and an enhanced customer experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Own Product Execution: Develop and manage assigned product initiatives, serving as the single point of contact for the execution of end-to-end product processes and outcomes.
• Deep Product Expertise: Build and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge across Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Long-Term Care (LTC), Voluntary Benefits (VB), and future product offerings.
• Market Intelligence & Strategy: Collaborate with cross-matrix partners to gather market intelligence on products, pricing, positioning, and value propositions to inform recommendations and implementation of winning tactics.
• Roadmap Translation & Leadership: Translate the established product vision and multi-year roadmap into product plans and recommendations, leading key initiatives that support profitable growth and product performance.
• Performance Analysis & Recommendations: Leverage internal data and metrics to assess product performance, identify opportunities, and develop business cases for senior leadership decision-making, including funding and prioritization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Management, Finance, or a related field, coupled with broad knowledge across group insurance products.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of Group Benefits product management experience, with a proven track record of developing strong relationships across matrix partners, Distribution, Operations, Technology, and external vendors.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; demonstrated ability to identify strategic opportunities and lead complex initiatives with minimal direction; capability to develop innovative product recommendations that balance customer needs, competitive positioning, operational capabilities, and financial objectives.
• Bonus: Self-directed with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong personal accountability, possessing the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while effectively prioritizing competing business needs.
