Manager-Product Marketing | Microchip Technology

The Tone:

This position is a pivotal opportunity to define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Linear Drop Out (LDO) regulator semiconductors, driving innovation and business growth within the Analog Power and Interface Business Unit.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Define and implement product strategies and roadmaps to drive revenue growth for LDO product lines, informed by market research and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate closely with applications and architecture teams to define product requirements and specifications that meet customer needs and market demands.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, gathering feedback, identifying requirements, engaging NPI beta clients, and coordinating sampling to inform product development and ensure satisfaction.
• Create comprehensive go-to-market plans, including product positioning, value-based pricing, messaging, and launch strategies, partnering with sales teams to promote the product line and drive revenue.
• Forecast revenue and wafer starts, manage product revenue and margins to achieve financial targets, and oversee the entire product lifecycle including pricing strategies and inventory management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field. This is a senior-level position for a seasoned product line marketer with deep technical expertise in LDO products, architectures, and applications.
• Experience: 15+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or technical marketing within the semiconductor or electronics industry, with a proven track record of successful product line management.
• Skills: Strategic thinking, excellent negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities to interpret data and forecast trends, clear communication and presentation, and proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Bonus: Master’s degree preferred.
