Tesla’s Product Knowledge team plays a vital role in ensuring Tesla’s global workforce and customers possess a comprehensive understanding of Tesla’s products and their contribution to the company’s mission. The team manages company-wide product updates, supports events, and collaborates with technical and non-technical teams on product messaging. They create engaging, accessible, learner-friendly content that embodies Tesla’s culture and fosters confidence in Tesla’s products among employees and customers.

The educational content includes internal communications, reference guides, online courses, live instructor-led sessions, and videos. The team covers vehicle offerings, accessories, and the software and firmware that support them. The role is a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and projects, as the team works closely with Tesla’s latest products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track product updates.
• Build and maintain Tesla product knowledge.
• Collaborate on content requests.
• Propose media solutions.
• Organize production resources.
• Assist with shooting content using different camera techniques.
• Assist with running sound and light set-up for in-studio and on-location shoots.
• Assist with coordinating logistics for production.
• Manage on-screen talent to visually reproduce precise human interactions.
• Use editing tools to put together content that aligns with corporate guidelines and visual standards.
• Produce, edit, and contribute to educational content of all kinds.
• Assist with maintaining and expanding our internal knowledge base.
• Shoot and edit high-quality photographs for use in internal educational materials.

Internship Details:

• The internship is expected to start around August or September 2025 and continue through the Fall term (ending approximately December 2025) or continuing into Winter/Spring 2026.
• A minimum commitment of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, is required.
• The internship program is intended for students actively enrolled in an academic program.
• International students on CPT must consult with their school regarding the ability to work 40 hours per week before applying.
• The position requires on-site work.

What You’ll Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Film, Video Production, or equivalent
• Experience with filming, editing and producing video
• Experience with editing software is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Preferred: Experience in 3D software is a plus (After Effects, Blender, Unreal Engine, Godot)
