Product Management Intern | Azazie, Inc.
The Tone:
This is a product management internship at Azazie, Inc., located in San Jose, CA, requiring a hybrid presence in the office. Azazie is the leading direct-to-consumer e-tailer disrupting the traditional wedding industry by offering made-to-order bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, evening wear, and accessories at affordable price points. This role is crucial for supporting the product team in enhancing the customer experience on Azazie.com through website optimization, user research, data analysis, and feature development. It offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a brand dedicated to body-positive fashion and serving millions of customers.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Temporary (1 month with possibility of extension & full-time hire)
• Location: Hybrid, San Jose, CA (4 days a week in office)
• Team: Supports the product team, collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers, and marketing partners.
• Mission: Optimizing the customer experience on Azazie.com through research, analysis, and feature development to elevate the digital product.
• Tech Stack: GA4 (training provided)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Development Support: Assist in gathering requirements for new features and website improvements, including preparing product documentation like feature specifications, user stories, and QA checklists.
• User Insights & Research: Conduct basic market research and competitor comparisons, help collect and synthesize customer feedback across various channels, and compile insights on user behavior and trends.
• Data & Analytics Assistance: Learn to analyze key product metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, and funnel performance, support data extraction and reporting using analytics tools, and assist in tracking new feature and A/B test performance.
• Project Coordination: Help prepare project timelines, meeting notes, and follow-up action items, and participate in sprint planning, stand ups, and product reviews to observe the product development lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Assist in testing new features and updates before their launch, and help identify and clearly document any bugs, inconsistencies, or user experience issues for the engineering team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Design, or a related field. Entry-Level career level.
• Experience: Strong interest in e-commerce, product management, user experience, or digital consumer experiences. A basic understanding of data analysis or a willingness to learn is essential.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively, and capability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Fluency in Mandarin is required.
• Bonus: A passion for fashion, weddings, or customer experience is a plus.
