What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Contribute to building and maintaining financial models that track both revenue and cost drivers, enabling accurate forecasting and real-time visibility into workload contribution margins.
• Revenue, Margin & Pricing Strategy: Assist in analyzing historical and forward-looking trends for revenue, COGS, and margin to support actionable recommendations that influence pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• Cross-functional Business Partnering: Collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers, and Sales to evaluate new product features or market opportunities, providing data-driven insights for business case development.
• Data Analysis & AI-Assisted Insights: Learn complex data structures and business drivers, developing proficiency in SQL and using Snowflake Intelligence and AI-assisted tools to automate reporting and speed up insight discovery.
• Reporting & Cost Optimization: Translate data findings into automated, high-visibility dashboards for decision-making, and help identify abnormalities in infrastructure spend to maintain healthy margins and improve cost efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, with a strong academic foundation in quantitative analysis.
• Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience, including recent graduates. Relevant internships, capstone projects, or academic research in Finance, Consulting, or Data Analytics are valued.
• Skills:
• Analytical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to work with quantitative and qualitative data through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Technical Agility: High aptitude for navigating technical systems and data structures, with the ability to quickly become proficient in understanding complex schemas and data logic.
• Business Analysis Concepts: Familiarity with concepts like revenue, COGS, and margin analysis from work experience, coursework, case competitions, or internships.
• Problem-Solving: Adeptness at working through ambiguity and taking initiative to anticipate next steps, coordinate with others, and push projects forward.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex data into clear, succinct takeaways and present findings to peers and senior stakeholders.
• Bonus: Exposure to SaaS, Cloud, Data, or Fintech environments, or experience with Salesforce or other business systems.
