The Tone:
This is an in-person internship at Universal Creative, located in Orlando, FL. Universal Creative is part of Universal Destinations & Experiences, an organization that creates and manages world-class entertainment destinations. This role is crucial for supporting the financial operations and accounts payable processes, ensuring the business runs efficiently. By collaborating with finance professionals and business partners, this intern will help financial teams support organizational success through effective planning, reporting, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile various accounts and contribute to financial reporting activities.
• Review and audit invoices for the Accounts Payable team.
• Maintain the Accounts Payable log and track down invoices from vendors.
• Support month-end close processes, financial updates, and respond to ad-hoc requests for project teams.
• Communicate with vendors regarding outstanding financial items.

The Must-Haves
• Background: In pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree from an Accredited Institution, with a current class standing of Junior or above. A minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required, and a transcript is needed upon application.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required, but completion of coursework in Finance, Accounting, or Math is preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, superior written & verbal communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work effectively and meet deadlines in a professional environment.
