What You’ll Actually Do
• Automation: Develop automated processes using Excel spreadsheets to minimize manual efforts.
• Analysis: Assist in reviewing, analyzing, and investigating discrepancies in charges, making necessary adjustments for professional and hospital charges.
• Reporting: Prepare financial and statistical analyses, extracting and manipulating data to perform trend calculations and measure process or organizational performance.
• Standards Development: Participate in developing detailed cost accounting and productivity standards, utilizing them for financial proformas, budgeting, and subsequent variance analysis.
• Revenue Cycle Support: Assist with various revenue cycle projects or operational areas such as cash posting, insurance follow-up, or physician coding missing documentation work queues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Management, or a related field, with junior or senior standing at a regionally accredited college or university. A minimum grade point average of 2.5 is required.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is required for this role.
• Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, good written and verbal communication skills, keen attention to detail, effective multitasking and prioritization abilities, and demonstrated strong teamwork skills.
