Description: Procurement Partner
This role serves as a Procurement partner, liaising with various business functions to support procurement projects and vendor management. The position requires a strong ability to build relationships with internal teams, vendors, and cross-functional groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Vendor Management & Onboarding: Collaborating with Legal and Security departments to ensure compliance, managing supplier onboarding and risk management (domestic and international), identifying process improvements, and finding alternative sourcing options based on quality, price, and delivery.
• Procurement Processes: Monitoring and managing new requisitions through the Procure-to-Pay platform (Zip and Workday), guiding business units through the procurement process, managing expectations on turnaround times, and negotiating favorable contract terms and pricing with suppliers.
• Contract Management: Reviewing and redlining contracts (MSAs, software agreements, SOWs, order forms, quotes), ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and performing follow-up work to ensure vendor compliance.
• Vendor Performance Evaluation: Evaluating vendor performance based on quality, price, service, and delivery, using feedback from business units.
• Strategic Sourcing: Identifying opportunities to optimize costs, improve service, and enhance efficiency. Leading RFP processes and vendor negotiations. Analyzing business issues and identifying opportunities for improved functionality, cost savings, and SLAs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working effectively with individuals at all skill and organizational levels, both internally and externally, and across multiple teams.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Buyer with a strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay and the PR/PO lifecycle.
• Experience in the Marketing field is highly preferred.
• Global Indirect Procurement experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Strong understanding of legal concepts related to vendor agreements.
• Excellent relationship management and collaborative skills.
• Ability to identify and act on opportunities to improve cost, service, and efficiency.
• Ability to summarize complex issues and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
• Proven ability to drive positive change and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multi-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of contract structures.
• Self-starter capable of building procurement credibility.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Process and customer service oriented, with a self-starter mentality.
• Experience with Zip and Workday is a plus but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated base salary range is $94,000 – $124,900, plus bonus and equity plan eligibility. A competitive benefits package is offered, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k); flexible spending and health savings accounts; paid time off; and parental leave.
