This is an entry-level, on-site role at MFM Partners, located in Overland Park, KS, specifically supporting Unishippers-MFM Partners’ logistics operations. This position offers a significant foundational opportunity for an individual eager to develop a robust career in the specialized fields of pricing, analytics, and logistics. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day execution of parcel and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) pricing strategies for the sales team. Your work, which includes managing quote requests and leveraging data, directly contributes to optimizing margins and ensuring positive customer outcomes, thereby having a direct and measurable impact on winning new business and maintaining profitable client relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Pricing Review: You will diligently review all incoming pricing requests and quote opportunities for both parcel and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments. This critical task involves ensuring that every price quoted is not only accurate and delivered in a timely manner but also remains highly competitive within established margin guidelines. Your work directly enables the sales team to present viable and attractive offers to potential and existing clients.
• Performance Analysis: You will regularly examine comprehensive pricing and performance reports. By analyzing these datasets, you will extract key insights and translate them into actionable recommendations, directly assisting the sales team in making smarter, data-driven decisions that enhance profitability and market position.
• Data Management: A core part of your role will involve the hands-on process of pulling, thoroughly cleaning, and meticulously organizing various data sets. This prepared data is essential for generating detailed account reviews and supporting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), providing a clear picture of client performance and opportunities.
• Problem Resolution: You will be responsible for identifying and flagging any discrepancies, issues, or anomalies related to pricing or data. Proactively, you will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and other relevant teams to investigate and implement effective solutions, ensuring smooth processes and data integrity.
• System Enhancement: As you gain experience and insight, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing improvement of existing pricing tools, templates, and reports. This involves identifying areas for efficiency and accuracy, helping to evolve the infrastructure that supports the entire pricing function over time.
