Job Description: Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management

RSM US LLP seeks a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) to accelerate the growth of their Business Applications practice. This role focuses on the Supply Chain Management function within Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Position Summary:

The PSE acts as the functional expert for Supply Chain Management, driving project solutioning. They collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure proposed projects effectively address client needs and support key decision-makers. A significant responsibility is achieving revenue quotas, combining business development and practice expectations. The position offers national coverage with flexible work-from-home options.

Responsibilities:

• Lead pursuits as the functional architect, prioritizing efforts for maximum team impact, as directed by leadership.
• Proactively scope solutions to address customer requirements, gain prospect consensus, assess needs, and recommend value-optimizing solutions.
• Secure input from all necessary stakeholders (internal and client-side).
• Adapt solutions to ensure appropriate support.
• Coordinate with business development and delivery resources to align solution design with customer business requirements.
• Demonstrate software to address concerns and generate enthusiasm for implementation.
• Provide coaching and professional development to junior resources.
• Maintain strong relationships with Microsoft channel teams, technology specialists, and sales executives.
• Stay updated on Microsoft product developments and integrate them into demonstrations and narratives.
• Communicate product changes to consulting and business development teams.
• Assist in developing go-to-market strategies and marketing content (white papers, videos).

Accountabilities & Performance Measures:

• Achieve assigned productivity quotas.
• Maintain project throughput in early deal-sales process steps.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings meeting company standards.
• Complete required training and development objectives within deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience presenting software solutions (B2B) to middle market/strategic customers.
• 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Sales/Customer Service and Power Platform capabilities.
• Proven technical solution expertise in a comparable sales role.
• Product certification, engineering credential, or equivalent technical credential.
• Up to 80% travel required (when appropriate).

Compensation:

Compensation Range: $142,800 – $253,000
• Discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance. Benefits package included.
