Presales & Delivery Operations Intern | Uptima

The Tone:
This is a 2-month internship at Uptima, located remotely across the US with an in-person option available, and potential for a full-time conversion. Uptima is a leading AI-powered Salesforce partner, transforming sales and service operations for asset-focused industries like manufacturing and medical device companies through intelligent automation. Since 2007, the company has delivered comprehensive Salesforce transformations across various clouds. This role is crucial, offering a direct opportunity to work with Solutions and Delivery teams to accelerate the scoping, proposing, and winning of Salesforce implementation projects, directly impacting revenue.

The TL;DR

• Team: Collaborates with Solutions and Delivery teams.
• Mission: Accelerate the process of scoping, proposing, and winning Salesforce implementation projects to drive revenue growth.
• Tech Stack: Salesforce (Revenue Cloud, Field Service, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud), AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, NotebookLM), AgentForce.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Template Creation: Draft initial Statement of Work (SOW) templates using standard time and materials baselines, then populate customer-specific details for senior review.
• Tool Operation: Learn and operate the company’s project estimator tool under direct guidance from team members.
• AI Automation: Build and refine AI skills and prompts using tools like Claude or Gemini to automate SOW generation and estimation workflows.
• Demo Asset Development: Assist in building Salesforce demo assets, such as AgentForce demos and Field Service components, for customer-facing presentations.
• Documentation Support: Support the documentation of reusable delivery assets across various projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position for a recent graduate or a rising senior currently enrolled in a technical or business-related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Technology.
• Experience: Basic familiarity with the Salesforce platform or a demonstrated eagerness and capacity to learn new technical concepts quickly.
• Skills: Exhibits a detail-oriented and organized approach to tasks, demonstrates self-starter initiative, and is comfortable adapting to and working within a fast-moving, startup-style environment. Additionally, candidates should have exposure to or curiosity about AI tools like Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or NotebookLM.
• Bonus: Any prior hands-on Salesforce experience (including completion of Trailhead badges), experience with professional proposal writing or business documentation, or foundational familiarity with project estimation concepts.
