Job Description: Pre-Grad Intern
This role is for a Pre-Grad Intern within a dynamic pharmacy team, offering a hands-on experience in an energetic environment. The intern will be at the forefront of patient care, making a direct impact in the community. It is a paid position designed to support the team’s goals and contribute to the company’s success.
Position Summary:
As a Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain practical experience in patient care within a community pharmacy setting. You will learn to recognize patient needs, assess them, and assist in navigating clinical therapies, all while contributing to customer health and wellness. This role emphasizes advocating for patient well-being and contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):
• Ensure confidentiality of all information, documentation, and assigned records, strictly adhering to Company policies and all local, State, and Federal guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, PHI).
• Assist with processing both prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by identifying patient needs, assessing them, and providing support in navigating clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies arriving from distribution centers and various suppliers.
• Manage inventory and ensure the pharmacy area is well-maintained.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Hourly Wage Range: $18.00 – $28.00 (The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location).
• Additional Compensation: Includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also receive Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) compensation based on location.
