PR & Influencer Summer Internship | Califia Farms

The Tone:
This is a 10-week summer internship at Califia Farms, located in Los Angeles, CA. Califia Farms is a company focused on plant-based beverages, and this role supports the vital development and execution of its PR and Influencer strategy. As an intern, you will directly interact with internal and external partners to assist with media relations and influencer marketing, helping to create deeper resonance with younger audiences and bring the brand’s voice to life. This hybrid position requires working in the DTLA Arts District office Tuesday through Thursday.

• Mission: Support the development and execution of PR and Influencer strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Influencer Discovery: Discover influencer partners on TikTok and Instagram to drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Campaign Support: Assist with ongoing influencer campaigns and manage product orders for celebrity, VIP, and influencer fans.
• Performance Reporting: Contribute to monthly reporting on influencer performance.
• Media Relations: Manage the press inbox and respond to press and influencer inquiries.
• Industry Research: Research food & beverage and plant-based industry trends, launches, and announcements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career candidate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Basic knowledge of marketing principles, gained through coursework or prior work experience.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Writing samples may be requested.
