Intern, Portfolio Strategy (Renewables & Flexible Power) | ENGIE North America Inc.
The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at ENGIE North America Inc., working in a hybrid capacity. ENGIE North America is actively leading the Zero-Carbon Transition by developing energy solutions that are renewable, efficient, and accessible to everyone. This role is crucial as it supports key business initiatives, specifically by leading strategic projects and providing analytical insights that drive business decisions for the Renewables & Flexible Power growth strategy in North America.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Portfolio Strategy: Support the development and execution of ENGIE’s portfolio strategy, annual business planning, and investment review processes to achieve Renewables & Flexible Power growth objectives.
• Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and synthesize business, market, financial, and operational data to produce actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market and industry research, evaluate external data sources, monitor emerging trends, and clearly communicate key findings to internal stakeholders.
• Executive Communication: Develop executive-ready presentations, detailed business cases, briefing materials, and visual communications that effectively convey complex information to diverse business and leadership audiences.
• Project Ownership: Take ownership of assigned projects, proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, and independently drive deliverables to completion within a dynamic environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a minimum second-year undergraduate degree or a graduate degree, with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Experience: Demonstrated business acumen and analytical capabilities, with experience performing quantitative analysis and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; effective written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to develop compelling presentation materials using clear messaging and thoughtful visual organization; strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills; attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience with graphic design, data visualization, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar visual communication tools is preferred.
