Platforms & Technology Intern (Quality Engineer) | TD Bank

The Tone:
This is an internship at TD Bank, located in Mount Laurel, NJ. TD Bank is one of the world’s leading global financial institutions, dedicated to its vision to Build The Better Bank. As a Platforms & Technology Intern functioning as a Quality Engineer, you will support the development and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and embodying TD’s customer-focused culture. This role is crucial in contributing to the quality and reliability of banking solutions.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time (40 hours)
• Location: In-person, Mount Laurel, NJ
• Pay: $30.74 hourly
• Team: Platforms & Technology (functions as a Quality Engineer)
• Mission: Supports the development and execution of work projects aligned with Business goals and objectives, contributing to quality within the Platforms & Technology division.
• Tech Stack: Agile Methodology, AI and Machine Learning, Confluence, DevOps Automation, Java, JavaScript, Jira, Open Source Tools and Databases, SQL, Test Automation, Web APIs/RESTful Services; API/SOS web development

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Contribute to the development and execution of work projects within the Platforms & Technology division, supporting business goals and objectives.
• Uphold: Embody TD’s shared commitments and customer-focused culture, ensuring a focus on quality in all tasks and deliverables.
• Develop: Strengthen essential skills and knowledge in quality engineering through professional experiences and dedicated development training.
• Collaborate: Engage with team members, participate in networking opportunities, and interact with senior leaders to foster professional growth.
• Participate: Take an active role in community service projects and gain valuable insight into TD’s vision to build a better bank.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a post-secondary degree in business-related disciplines; anticipated graduation between December 2026 to June 2027.
• Experience: Must be work authorized in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively while taking initiative and accountability.
• Bonus: Preferred background in IT-related disciplines; experience with Agile Methodology, AI and Machine Learning, Confluence, DevOps Automation, Java, JavaScript, Jira, Open Source Tools and Databases, SQL, Test Automation, or Web APIs/RESTful Services and API/SOS web development.
