Customer Service Rep | Domino’s

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Domino’s, located in Bonita, CA. Domino’s is a well-known pizza company focused on delivering quality food and service to its customers. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient daily operations, from preparing delicious products to providing excellent customer interaction, directly contributing to the store’s success and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Equipment Operation: Operate all necessary store equipment for food preparation and other tasks.
• Inventory Management: Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler, ensuring supplies are always available.
• Product Preparation: Precisely prepare food products according to Domino’s recipes and quality standards.
• Order Processing: Receive and accurately process customer orders received both over the telephone and in person at the counter.
• Facility Maintenance: Take inventory and complete associated paperwork daily, and clean equipment and the facility to maintain hygiene standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position where orientation and on-the-job training are provided. Candidates should possess the ability to comprehend and follow written instructions, direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team under varying conditions. The role requires the capacity to work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal effectively with people, and make sound judgments and decisions.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
• Skills:
• Numerical Accuracy: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, including the capability to make correct monetary change for customer transactions. A calculator may be used.
• Communication Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting clearly with customers and co-workers, and for efficiently processing orders via phone and in-person.
• Manual Dexterity and Coordination: Excellent motor coordination between eyes, hands, and fingers to execute rapid and precise movements with speed. This includes the ability to accurately enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and continuously use hands for tasks such as shaping dough, manipulating pizza peels, and assembling boxes.
• Physical Stamina and Capability: The physical ability to perform tasks from a standing position for most of the shift, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, push and pull, climb stairs or ladders infrequently, and perform continuous stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching motions.
