Phone Auditor | EXL

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at EXL, located remotely in the United States. EXL Premium Audit is a leader in its field, capable of completing all levels of premium audits across all auditable exposure types. This role is crucial for completing audits for Property & Casualty policies, ensuring accurate classifications and exposure amounts for policyholders. It directly contributes to customer satisfaction and compliance within a large, professional organization.

• Tech Stack: Nexus platform, web-based production system

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Completion: Complete audits for Property & Casualty insurance policies, including Workers’ Compensation and General Liability.
• Policyholder Engagement: Work directly with policyholders or their contacts via phone to obtain necessary payroll and accounting records.
• Classification & Evaluation: Accurately evaluate and apply correct classifications and exposure amounts to insurance policies.
• Assignment Management: Manage assigned audit tasks efficiently through the company’s web-based production system.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, compliance, and high customer satisfaction in all aspects of the audit work performed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School diploma or GED is required. Possess work experience in insurance, accounting, bookkeeping, or other related fields.
• Experience: Experience working directly with the public, with a preference for phone-based interaction.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent written and oral communication, great customer service skills, and the capability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Bonus: Knowledge and experience conducting audits within the Nexus platform. An Associate or Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Bookkeeping.
