Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician/Student Intern provides pharmacy products and services to customers while adhering to all company policies, as well as local, state, and federal laws. This includes assisting with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders, stocking pharmacy supplies, entering prescription information, filling prescriptions, and completing/maintaining necessary documentation. Customer service is a key aspect, involving identifying customer needs, assisting with purchases, resolving issues, and promoting products and services. The role also involves operating equipment like cash registers, receiving and stocking merchandise, organizing the pharmacy area, and maintaining merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring confidentiality of information and records.
• Assisting with processing prescriptions and OTC orders.
• Stocking and securing pharmacy supplies.
• Entering prescription information and/or filling prescriptions.
• Completing and maintaining paperwork and documentation.
• Providing customer service and resolving issues.
• Operating cash registers and related tools.
• Receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Organizing and maintaining the pharmacy area.
• Handling claims and returns.
• Zoning the area and arranging merchandise.
• Identifying shrink and damages.
• Ensuring a safe work environment.
• Stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Removing damaged or out-of-date goods.
• Setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays.
• Signing and pricing merchandise.
• Securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Following Company procedures utilizing equipment appropriately merchandising and completing and retaining required paperwork logs and other documentation.
• Maintaining the Pharmacy area in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns zoning the area arranging and organizing merchandisesupplies identifying shrink and damages and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Maintaining merchandise presentation in the Pharmacy by stocking and rotating merchandise removing damaged or outofdate goods setting up cleaning and organizing product displays signing and pricing merchandise appropriately and securing fragile and highshrink merchandise.

Compensation:

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00-$28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and potential Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
