Position: Pharmacy Technician Intern

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician Intern program at ECU Health is a structured training initiative designed to prepare high school students for a successful career as proficient pharmacy technicians. Pharmacy Technician Interns operate under the direct supervision of experienced registered pharmacy technicians and licensed pharmacists. In this role, interns are crucial in supporting the overarching mission, vision, and core values of ECU Health and its pharmacy department by actively participating in and executing foundational medication dispensing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the direct supervision of registered pharmacy technicians and pharmacists.
  • Support the mission, vision, and core values of ECU Health.
  • Execute foundational medication dispensing activities.
  • Engage in a comprehensive training program to develop proficiency as a pharmacy technician.

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Pharmacy Technician curriculum with Pitt County Schools.
