This job posting is for a Pharmacy Student position at Walmart located in Elkhart, Indiana.
Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Student provides pharmacy products and services to customers in accordance with local, state, and federal laws, and Company policies and procedures. This includes assisting with processing prescriptions and over-the-counter (OTC) orders, stocking and securing pharmacy supplies and merchandise, entering prescription information, filling prescriptions, and completing/maintaining required documentation. The position also entails providing customer service, operating equipment, receiving/stocking merchandise, and maintaining the pharmacy area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring confidentiality of information, documentation, and records.
• Assisting with processing prescription and OTC orders.
• Stocking and securing Pharmacy supplies and merchandise.
• Entering prescription information and/or filling prescriptions.
• Completing, maintaining, and securing paperwork, forms, and required documentation.
• Providing customer service by addressing customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Operating cash registers and related tools.
• Receiving and stocking merchandise/supplies.
• Organizing and maintaining the Pharmacy area.
• Handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Maintaining merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile/high-shrink items.
• Respecting individual differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences and creating a culture of belonging.
• Working as a team and building strong, trusting relationships.

Salary:
The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00-$28.00, with potential for annual or quarterly performance bonuses and regional pay zone adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
