This job posting is for a Pharmacy student position at Walmart, located in Houston, TX.

What You’ll Do:

The role involves assisting with pharmacy operations and customer service within the Walmart pharmacy setting. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring confidentiality of information and records.
• Providing pharmacy products and services to customers in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Assisting with processing prescriptions and OTC orders.
Stocking and securing pharmacy supplies and merchandise.
• Entering prescription information and/or filling prescriptions.
Completing and maintaining paperwork and documentation.
• Providing customer service by addressing needs, assisting with purchases, and resolving issues.
• Operating cash registers and related equipment.
• Receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise in the pharmacy area.
• Maintaining the pharmacy area, handling claims and returns, managing merchandise, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Maintaining merchandise presentation through stocking, rotating, and displaying products.
• Embracing differences in people, cultures, ideas and experiences.
Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships communicates with impact, energy and positivity to motivate and influence.
• Strengthening the team by helping, developing and mentoring others, recognizes others contributions and accomplishments.
• Maintaining and promoting the highest standards of integrity, ethics and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification

Compensation and Benefits:

• The hourly wage range is $18.00-$28.00.
• Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and potentially a Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustment based on location.
