Job Description
Position Title: Pharmacy Grad Intern
Position Summary:
This role is designed for recent pharmacy graduates or those in their final year of an accredited pharmacy school who are eager to start their career in a dynamic and supportive community pharmacy setting. As a Grad Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, directly impacting customers’ health and well-being. You will learn to improve customer health and wellness, advocating for patient well-being, and contributing to the overall success of the pharmacy operations by supporting the team’s goals, focusing on customer care, safety, clinical care, and compliance with all policies.
What you’ll do (Key Responsibilities):
• Ensure the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Assist with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing patient needs, assessing them, and assisting in navigating clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.

• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and the ability to implement best practices.
• Excellent capability to foster strong relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Ability to cater to the individual needs of patients.

• Strong commitment to following HIPAA and Protected Health Information (PHI) guidelines.
• Competence in managing inventory and maintaining the pharmacy area.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Enrolled in the final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors: Science
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification
Compensation and Benefits:
• Hourly Wage Range: $18.00-$37.00• (The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.)

• Annual or Quarterly Performance Bonuses.
• Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) for certain positions.
