Pest Control Technician | Viking Pest Control

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Viking Pest Control, with work locations across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The company provides modern and sustainable pest control services, focusing on prevention and new technology to create healthy environments for individuals and businesses. This role is vital for linking the company with clients, solving existing pest and rodent problems, and building long-term relationships to protect homes and businesses.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekends as needed
• Location: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Eastern Shore of Maryland

• Mission: Solve existing pest/rodent problems, recommend preventative actions, and build long-term relationships with clients.
• Tech Stack: Exposure to computers, smartphones, etc.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a vital link between Viking Pest Control and its clients.
• Diagnose and resolve existing pest and rodent problems for residential and commercial clients.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent future pest infestations and protect properties.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with community members by addressing their pest challenges.
• Utilize prevention methods and sustainable solutions to ensure healthy, pest-free environments for clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience: No prior experience is needed, as the company provides hands-on training to all new hires. Must be 21 years old or older.
• Skills: Demonstrated great customer service, dedication, motivation, a passion for helping others and solving problems, a safety-first mindset, great work ethic, and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Must also be comfortable working outdoors, possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and have reliable transportation.
