What You’ll Actually Do
• Resolve Infestations: Address current pest and rodent issues for clients.
• Prevent Recurrence: Advise on solutions to stop future pest problems.
• Community Support: Assist local residents and businesses by resolving their pest challenges.
• Client Relations: Establish and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Property Protection: Safeguard residential and commercial properties from various pests.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school degree or equivalent is required; candidates must be 21 years old or older. This is an entry-level opportunity, as no prior pest control experience is needed due to the comprehensive hands-on training provided by Viking Pest Control.
• Experience: Beyond the commitment to learning, a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation are essential for managing scheduled routes within your community. Upon successful completion of training, a company vehicle with a gas card for work-related driving is provided.
• Skills: Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service are paramount. Technicians should possess problem-solving abilities, be comfortable working independently, and maintain a safety-first mindset. Familiarity with computers and smartphones for route management and client interaction is also necessary.
• Bonus: A great work ethic, coupled with a dedicated and motivated approach to helping others, will contribute to success in this role. Comfort in working outdoors in various weather conditions is also beneficial for daily operations.
