Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and client-focused individual for the full-time, on-site position of Personal Banker 1, based in Plymouth, WI. In this vital role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, actively engaging with them to support and address their diverse financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with various transactional needs, including processing deposits and withdrawals efficiently.
  • Guide clients through the process of opening new accounts, ensuring a smooth and accurate experience.
  • Offer a comprehensive range of personal banking services, tailored to individual customer requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships based on trust and mutual understanding.
  • Consistently deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable banking experience for every client.
  • Actively educate customers on UMB Bank’s diverse financial products and services, helping them identify solutions that align with their personal and financial goals.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in Personal Banking, including proficiency in managing customer deposits and withdrawals.
  • Solid knowledge of the procedures for opening New Accounts and other foundational banking operations.
  • A strong understanding of general Finance principles and various financial products.
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with banking software and standard computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a financial institution or a similar customer-facing role is a significant plus.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in Finance or Business is advantageous.
