What We Look For In a PC Basic Computer Skills Tutor

• Advanced Subject Mastery:
  • Deep knowledge of Windows operating system navigation, File Explorer management, Settings and Control Panel, web browsing, email setup, Microsoft Office basics, printer setup, and Windows security features.

• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction:
  • Familiar with Windows PC training needs and common challenges such as file management confusion, understanding Windows updates, and basic troubleshooting for common issues.
  • Adapts instruction using hands-on practice, visual guides, and step-by-step walkthroughs to support beginning computer users, including adult learners and seniors, in building essential Windows PC skills for personal and professional use.
• Effective Teaching Methods:
  • Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with.
  • Explains material using multiple approaches and adapts instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
