What You’ll Actually Do
• Process payroll data accurately for employees, including hours, pay, deductions, and benefits.
• Operate multi-company payroll systems to manage diverse payroll environments.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies to guarantee accurate compensation for all employees.
• Manage and update employee payroll records and essential documentation.
• Provide professional support by responding to employee payroll inquiries and building communication skills.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School Diploma or GED required, with an openness to starting or pivoting into accounting/payroll roles.
• Experience: Approximately 2 years of experience or exposure in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable, finance, or HR support roles. Basic to intermediate Excel skills are essential. Successfully pass background and drug screenings.
• Skills: Payroll processing and compliance fundamentals, data accuracy and financial recordkeeping, Excel and business systems proficiency, professional communication and customer support.
• Bonus: Coursework in accounting, finance, or business; internship or entry-level experience working with financial data; experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
