Job Description:
This is a full-time, six-month paid internship (January 2025 – June 2025) in Orlando, Florida. As a Payroll Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of payroll processing within a large corporate environment. Your responsibilities will include:
• Payroll Processing: Processing uploads and running off-cycle payments in SAP.
• Asset Management: Safeguarding company assets related to payroll.
• Communication & Support: Handling emails and addressing employee concerns regarding pay, direct deposits, returned checks, deductions, and general mail inquiries.
• Project Work: Completing an end-of-internship process improvement project to demonstrate initiative and analytical skills.
• Reporting: Assisting with quota report processing.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Exceptional Time Management: Ability to prioritize a high-volume workload, work independently, and learn new software quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical & Research Skills: Strong understanding of numbers and analytical abilities. Payroll experience is a plus.

• Leadership & Initiative: Demonstrated leadership skills, proactive approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

• Technical Proficiency: Experience using a tracker, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word mail merges, Excel pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros), and confidence working in a Windows environment.
• Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP
• Formal payroll training or certification
• Previous work or internship experience
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Must not have completed one year of continuous employment in a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university (taking at least one class in the semester prior to the internship), have graduated within 6 months of application, or be currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Undergraduate Juniors, Seniors, or recent graduates are preferred.
• Major or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional Information:
The internship is primarily on-site in Orlando, FL, with potential for occasional work-from-home days (requiring reliable internet and workspace). Candidates must arrange their own housing and transportation. Limited housing opportunities may be available through American Campus Communities. The internship requires full-time availability (approximately 40 hours per week).
