Tax Intern | MedPro Group

This is an onsite, year-round internship at MedPro Group, located in Fort Wayne, IN. This role is important for supporting the company’s financial operations through accurate tax preparation, compliance, and document management. • Mission: To assist with various tax and regulatory compliance tasks, information gathering, and documentation for MedPro Group.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, finance software systems, Excel, PowerPoint

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepare and file various tax returns and regulatory forms.
• Assist: Assist with income tax information gathering and review processes.
• Manage: Track and respond to notices received from taxing authorities.
• Research: Research and document wide-ranging tax topics as needed.
• Organize: Organize and store historical tax and regulatory documents effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least one year of coursework completed.
• Experience: None explicitly stated for prior professional work experience, beyond academic progress.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; Good verbal and written communication skills; Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and on teams; Ability to learn and improve technical skills in MS Office Suite software such as Excel and PowerPoint; Ability to effectively manage assignments.
