Associate, Audiences & Culture, Sales Marketing | Pandora

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SiriusXM Media (Pandora), located in New York, NY. SiriusXM and its brands lead in audio entertainment, delivering compelling subscription and ad-supported experiences across various platforms. SiriusXM Media functions as the gateway for marketers to the largest digital audio advertising ecosystem in North America, reaching over 150 million listeners each month. This Associate role, part of the Pathways Program for HBCU graduates, is crucial for accelerating career advancement while contributing to the Sales Marketing team’s goal of developing B2B marketing initiatives that strengthen connections between brands, diverse audiences, and their communities through audio.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Assist cultural marketing teams in developing sales enablement collateral such as presentations and one-sheets.
• Write: Write stories and develop materials to amplify audience and cultural perspectives.
• Research: Provide research support, extracting insights for new narratives and materials using internal tools.
• Monitor: Monitor listener trends and their connection to pop culture, developing new ways to showcase these findings internally and externally.
• Support: Support the ideation and creation of webinars, industry panels, conference sponsorships, and presentations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate from an accredited Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) within the last two years, or expected to graduate by June 2026, with a degree in Marketing, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
• Experience: Entry-level experience gained through internships or employment, demonstrating work in a highly cross-functional team environment.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities; excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities; an organized and proactive approach with the ability to learn quickly.
• Bonus: Keen interest in cultural trends, music, art, and entertainment; enthusiasm for working with data and deriving meaningful insights; seeking a career in digital advertising or marketing with an interest in mobile apps, streaming audio, and podcasting.
