The Tone:
This is an internship at Duravant, located in Downers Grove, IL (Hybrid) or Remote. Duravant is a global engineered equipment company with an over 100-year operating history, delivering trusted end-to-end process solutions for customers and partners in the food processing, packaging, and material handling sectors. This role is crucial for supporting the Parts Pricing team through advanced data mining and analysis. The intern will help build a standardized, repeatable process for parts categorization and pricing analysis across multiple operating companies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Conduct data mining and analysis on parts pricing and categorization data across multiple operating companies.
• Process Development: Collaborate with team members to develop a repeatable and scalable process for pricing analysis.
• Trend Identification: Support the identification of trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities within parts pricing structures.
• AI Application: Utilize AI tools and analytical techniques to enhance data insights and improve efficiency.
• Reporting & Communication: Assist in building reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and partner with cross-functional stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Economics, or a related field. Junior and Senior level students are preferred.
• Experience: Strong interest in data mining, analytics, and AI applications.
• Skills: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Bonus: Experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar analytics platforms.
