About the Company:
The New York Red Bulls (RBNY) are one of the original ten clubs in Major League Soccer (MLS), founded in 1996. They are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull and play their home games at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. The team has won the MLS Supporters’ Shield three times and boasts a prominent youth soccer development program encompassing local partnerships, regional schools, and the Red Bulls Academy.
Job Description:
This is an unpaid internship offered for college credit (proof of credit eligibility is required). The internship focuses on partnership sales and activation within the New York Red Bulls organization. Responsibilities include:
• Partnership sales prospecting: Identifying and qualifying potential partners.
• Sales proposal creation: Developing compelling proposals for prospective partners.
• Client relationships & account management: Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new partners.
• Industry research on other league and team partnerships: Analyzing successful partnerships within the sports industry for best practices.
• Partnership activation execution: Helping to implement and manage partnership activations.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive college credit.
• Motivated and interested in pursuing a career in the sports industry.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proactive, open to new ideas, eager to learn, and highly organized.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
