Marketing Events Intern (PT) | Greenspun Media Group
The Tone:
This is a Part-Time Marketing Events Internship at Greenspun Media Group, located in Las Vegas, NV. Greenspun Media Group is a family-owned media company with a diverse portfolio including the Las Vegas Sun, Las Vegas Weekly, Las Vegas Magazine, and numerous other publications, websites, and a dozen recognized community events annually. The company is actively building a media presence that will thrive for the next 50 years. This role is crucial for supporting the Events team in executing these community events, allowing the intern to gain hands-on experience in event planning and marketing within a celebrated and progressive media environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support to the department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all records and data.
• Material Management: Oversee and manage the organization of event materials, including assembling event collateral for various productions.
• Partnership Exploration: Assist in researching and exploring new event partnership opportunities, actively supporting trade agreements, activations, and honoree upgrade sales.
• Creative Input & Research: Research and offer recommendations for potential event activations, sponsors, and gifted items, contributing creative ideas for event themes and decor.
• Event Execution: Support the physical setup and breakdown of all events, assisting with comprehensive event planning and preparation, and contributing to on-site social media efforts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must be a college junior or senior currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, or a recent graduate within one year of degree completion, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hospitality.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required. However, prior experience in customer service, event planning, or event management is preferred.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, alongside excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Bonus: Must be over the age of 21, possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
