Job Description: Part-Time Internship (Quality and Service)
This is a part-time internship located in Jacksonville, FL, running from June 2026 to September 2026 (dates are flexible). The internship requires 100% on-site work in the Jacksonville office. The intern will support a Mercedes-Benz quality and service initiative.
Responsibilities:
• Working on a Mercedes-Benz quality and service topic: This involves engaging with various stakeholders across different Mercedes-Benz North American entities, summarizing findings, and presenting them.
• Collaborating on strategic topics: Working closely with the Strategy team and a cross-functional, international team on strategic initiatives relevant to the entire Mercedes-Benz North America business.
• Providing support in the field of quality and service: This will be the primary focus of the internship.
• Attending meetings: Participation in team/department meetings and meetings with other internal colleagues.
Internship Structure:
The internship will begin with job shadowing and team meetings. As the intern progresses, individually targeted and self-organized meetings will be scheduled. Weekly team meetings, periodic touchpoints with the team, and weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with the supervisor are included.
Required Skills:
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Project Management Skills: Experience as a project leader or team member.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relationship Building: Excellent relationship building and management skills.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills.
• Time Management Skills: Excellent time management skills.
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
• Prior work experience demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience working in teams and/or leading small groups (work, classroom, or extracurricular).
• Experience preparing communications, data analyses, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (work, classroom, or project-based).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Mentorship: The intern will receive mentorship and supervision from a manager.
Additional Notes: Relocation assistance is not provided. The position is for up to 90 calendar days.
