Job Description:
The Part-Time Cleaning Person position at Beitzel Corporation in Grantsville, MD, is a flexible opportunity to maintain the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of their facilities. The role involves cleaning offices and living quarters during evening hours (typically 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday) with occasional weekend shifts. The schedule includes two to three weekly cleanings, totaling approximately 20–30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Emptying waste bins and transporting waste material to designated collection points.
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
• Suction cleaning carpeted areas and “spot” cleaning carpets.
• Dusting, damp wiping, washing, or polishing furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves, and fitments.
• Replenishing consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels).
• Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, and showers.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma is preferred
• 2+ years of relevant work history
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation
• 2 or more professional references
Working Conditions:
• Must be able to bend, reach overhead, and climb stairs.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted.
• Must adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Pay:
• USD $16.00/Hr. Min
