The firm delivers comprehensive legal services, supporting individuals and businesses through various legal challenges. This position is vital for a Partner’s practice, ensuring efficient operation and critical support for real estate and family law matters. The role is crucial in managing documentation, coordinating key processes, and facilitating client interactions, directly contributing to successful case outcomes.

• Mission: This person will ensure efficient legal support for Real Estate and Family/Matrimonial Law matters, managing critical documentation, deadlines, and client communication.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Documentation: Draft various legal documents including pleadings, motions, judgments, financial statements, and child support worksheets.
• Real Estate Transactions: Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions, covering title review, closing preparation, and post-closing activities.
• Case Preparation: Prepare discovery responses, organize document productions, and compile materials necessary for trials.
• Schedule & Filing Management: Coordinate court filings, including electronic filings in state and family courts, and manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and closing schedules.
• Client Engagement: Conduct client communication, assist with client intake processes, and review financial and real estate records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced professional with a strong foundation in real estate law, with an interest in expanding into matrimonial/family law.
• Experience: 5+ years of Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience, including prior experience supporting real estate transactions and familiarity with title review, closings, and real estate documentation.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities, alongside proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
• Bonus: Paralegal Certificate preferred.
