What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Provide comprehensive paralegal support on medical malpractice cases from inception through resolution.
• Record Organization: Organize, maintain, and manage large volumes of case files and medical records.
• Litigation Preparation: Assist with case preparation, including discovery, pleadings, and trial materials, and draft correspondence and legal documents.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and experts.
• Compliance & Tracking: Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably in medical malpractice or complex litigation.
• Experience: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding professional environment, with the capacity to think and act independently with minimal supervision.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
