Job Description: Paid Internship (Los Angeles)
This is a full-time, paid internship position based in FleishmanHillard’s Los Angeles office, operating on a hybrid model requiring in-person work two days a week. The internship is slated to begin in March or April 2025 and run for 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Pacific Time.
Responsibilities:
• Research projects: Conducting thorough research to support various communication initiatives.
• Media monitoring: Tracking media coverage relevant to the agency’s clients and projects.
• Writing assignments and social content development: Creating written content for various platforms and purposes.
• Media pitching: Developing and executing media outreach strategies.
• Event management and support: Assisting in the planning and execution of events.
• Trend analysis: Identifying and analyzing industry trends using data analysis tools.
• AI tool utilization: Leveraging AI-related tools to enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
• Ability to commit to a hybrid work model (2 days/week in-office).
• Availability for a full-time (40 hours/week) commitment, Monday-Friday, starting March or April 2025.
• Strong interest in a communications career.
• Bachelor’s degree (or nearing completion) in journalism, public relations, communications, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, research, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Prior experience (internship or coursework) involving writing, content creation, or social media.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools to identify trends.
• Experience with AI tools preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Commitment to fostering diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive workplace.
Salary: $17.00-$22.00 per hour (depending on experience).
