Job Description: Paid Educational Student Internship
Mayo Clinic in Arizona is offering paid educational student internship opportunities for high school and college students. This is a temporary position with a 6-month duration.
• Responsibilities: Interns will work on a specific project that provides a challenging learning opportunity. Responsibilities will vary depending on the intern’s course of study and the assigned business unit. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Location: Phoenix or Scottsdale campus.
• Duration: Maximum of one year per internship project.
• Requirements: Interns must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Qualifications:
• Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of the internship.
• Currently registered as a full-time student.
• Prior research and/or healthcare experience preferred.
• Prior internship experience preferred.
• Compensation:
• Undergraduate student rate: $20.00 / hr
• Masters/PhD student rate: $21.50 / hr
• Benefits: Not benefits-eligible.
