Job Description: Paid Educational Student Internship
Mayo Clinic in Arizona is offering Paid Educational Student Internship opportunities for high school and college students. As an intern, you will work on a specific project tailored to provide a challenging learning experience.
Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities will vary depending on your course of study and the specific business unit you are assigned to.
• The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required.
• Gain real-world learning and training experience.
Important Notes:
• Placement in the internship program does not include financial assistance for relocation, housing, or transportation.
• Location may be on the Phoenix or Scottsdale campus.
• Each internship project has a maximum duration of one year.
• Interns must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• This is a temporary position with a 6-month duration.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is not eligible for F-1 OPT STEM extension.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of the internship.
• Currently registered as a full-time student.
• Compensation will be a fixed rate based upon the Intern’s education level, i.e., HS Student, Undergraduate, Graduate.
• Prior research and/or healthcare experience is preferred.
• Prior internship experience is preferred.

Compensation:
• Undergraduate student rate: $20.00/hr
• Masters/PhD student rate: $21.50/hr
