General Manager in Training | Brassica
The Tone:
This is a full-time training role at Brassica, requiring travel during the training period and relocation for opening your own restaurant. Brassica cultivates a network of extraordinary restaurants, where General Managers operate as owner-like entrepreneurs, leaders, and mentors, fostering craftsmanship and strong community relationships. • Team: Leads a restaurant team, reports to Operations Support Team during training.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Entrepreneurship: Build and grow your own restaurant business, solving problems and continuously learning to achieve significant financial rewards.
• Leadership: Cultivate a high-performing team by investing in their growth, setting a clear tone for excellence, and making effective hiring decisions.
• Mentorship: Guide your team’s development and leverage support from Brassica’s network and the Operations Support Team for your own success.
• Craftsmanship: Oversee the preparation of delicious, scratch-made food and ensure the restaurant’s inspiring design and high standards are consistently met.
• Relationships: Foster a vibrant community for guests and your team through exceptional hospitality and food, building lasting connections within your restaurant.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree with a strong GPA, and/or a track record of success in your current career, indicating readiness for a leadership role.
• Experience: Demonstrated career success in a relevant field, showing potential for restaurant leadership, with a motivation for personal and professional growth.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, professionalism, and operational excellence, including the ability to develop others, maintain high standards under demanding circumstances, and work with a proactive, urgent, and hands-on approach.
• Bonus: Openness to travel during the 20-week training period and a willingness to relocate to open your own Brassica location.
