As an Outside Services Attendant, you are integral to the club’s golf operations, responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience for all golfers. Your work directly supports the club’s reputation for excellence and contributes to the vibrant, inclusive atmosphere members expect.

• Team: Reports to the Supervisor Outside Services
• Mission: To support golf operations and provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all golfers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Member Support: Provide comprehensive pre- and post-play support to golfers, including loading and unloading bags, preparing equipment, answering questions, offering etiquette suggestions, and cleaning clubs.
• Cart Fleet Management: Efficiently marshal, assign, and track golf carts, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, inspected for damage, and promptly reported for any issues to the Golf Shop.
• Facility & Practice Area Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, parking lot, and pro shop entrance, while also setting up and stocking practice areas for daily use.
• Information & Promotion: Proactively promote club events, communicate course conditions, and provide relevant information to enhance the member/guest experience and encourage enjoyment of all amenities.
• Operational Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with other golf operations staff, including range attendants, marshals, and starters, to ensure efficient service and complete daily assignments to club standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent educational background, suitable for an Early Career level role in a service-oriented environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated prior experience in a similar customer service role or a strong foundational knowledge and passion for golf.
• Skills: Exhibit strong communication skills to interact effectively and professionally with members, guests, and colleagues; possess a robust knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices; demonstrate high attention to detail and unwavering reliability; and maintain a positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
