Outbound Development Representative | GoFundMe
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at GoFundMe, located remotely in the United States. GoFundMe is the world’s most powerful community for good, dedicated to helping people help each other by uniting individuals and nonprofits. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for prospective GoFundMe Pro customers, connecting nonprofits with innovative fundraising technology to amplify their mission and raise more funds online.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Outreach: Execute high-volume, strategic, and personalized outreach across multiple channels to connect with nonprofit decision-makers.
• Discovery: Facilitate qualifying calls and discovery sessions to uncover fundraising challenges and showcase the value of GoFundMe Pro’s tools.
• Pipeline Management: Methodically qualify, build, and manage a high-quality sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring seamless handoffs to Account Executives.
• Strategy Execution: Implement creative engagement strategies provided by marketing, such as event outreach and conference follow-ups.
• Collaboration: Support multiple Account Executives by managing relationships, coordinating schedules, and contributing to diverse initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Level. 1+ years of inside tech sales or relevant experience, including nonprofit fundraising, preferably selling over the phone or web.
• Experience: Proven outbound prospecting experience.
• Skills: Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to craft thoughtful communication; confidence speaking to prospects and handling objections; skilled at navigating organizations to identify decision-makers; technically savvy with new tools; high emotional intelligence to build relationships.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree; training or experience in consultative or value-based selling; proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce; experience with Salesloft, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
