Order Fulfillment Specialist
Join the Lowe’s team as an Order Fulfillment Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Pick, Stage, Inspect, and Fulfill: Accurately and punctually fulfill customer orders, ensuring all staging areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Deliver Excellent Service: Select high-quality items, validate orders, effectively answer customer questions, and connect customers with appropriate associates when further assistance is needed.
- Operate Powered Equipment: Safely operate and maintain certification for various powered equipment including Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Narrow Aisle Reach Trucks, strictly adhering to all safety protocols.
- Support Inventory Accuracy: Utilize the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and collaborate with leadership to efficiently resolve any short picks or inventory discrepancies.
- Complete Administrative & Maintenance Tasks: Execute tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management. Promptly report any safety concerns or potential theft.
- Customer-First Mindset: Achieve daily job responsibilities with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Other Duties: Be prepared to undertake other duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the business.
Required Qualifications
- Computer Experience: 6 months of experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- Retail Technology Experience: 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
- Powered Equipment Certification: Current certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck is required. If not currently certified, candidates must be willing and able to obtain certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Retail Experience: 6 months of general retail experience.
- Customer Service/Fulfillment Experience: 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position, especially within a home improvement or hardware retailer in a related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
- Loading/Unloading Experience: 6 months of experience in any industry involving inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material into or out of vehicles.
