Operations Manager | Radial Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Radial Inc., an organization of approximately 5,711 employees, located in-person on-site. Radial is the pre-eminent B2C eCommerce fulfillment solutions provider, bringing beloved brands to consumers through its fulfillment and technology solutions. This Operations Manager role is critical to leading and supervising an operations team within a value stream, fostering a world-class environment and ensuring efficient, accurate, and quality operations to fuel the future of retail.

• Team: Operations team working for the same value stream; advises Director of Operations on seasonal labor needs.
• Mission: Provides leadership and supervision to an operations team to create a world-class operational environment that meets client service level agreements and site-specific targets for quality and fulfillment.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis in Excel.

What You’ll Actually Do
Leadership: Lead and supervise an operations team within a specific value stream, actively contributing to the development of direct reports and promoting a culture of high accountability, engagement, and associate empowerment to build a world-class team.
Operations Management: Create and manage the day-to-day operational strategy to ensure the campus operates in a safe and productive manner, encompassing inbound, pick/pack, and outbound shipments, while maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting client SLA agreements and site-specific quality and fulfillment targets.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives within the value stream, delivering productivity and improvements in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), while taking ownership of lean process improvement and CI initiatives.
Quality Assurance: Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are consistently met across operations.
Resource Management: Organize and manage all necessary resources, including budget for the value stream and relationship with on-site seasonal staffing representatives, while ensuring all training, skills development programs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date and maintained.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level. HS Degree or GED required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Core domain knowledge in managing inbound, pick/pack, and outbound operations, and maintaining inventory.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive Operations experience in a manager role. Demonstrated experience in creating productivity improvement through continuous improvement efforts.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to analyze data for defects and root cause, capacity to learn all operational functions, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis in Excel.
• Bonus: Experience working with process improvement ideologies such as LEAN or Six Sigma, with Six Sigma certification preferred.
