The internship offers opportunities across several teams:
• Business/Project Development (Part-Time): This role involves supporting project development by identifying, tracking, and pursuing project leads. Interns will assist in preparing proposals and marketing materials.
• Purchasing: Interns will gain hands-on experience analyzing supplier and spend data, communicating with suppliers, purchasing direct and/or indirect goods and services, and supporting projects like creating and implementing new processes.
• Accounting & Finance (Part-Time) (Bastrop Only): This position (located in Bastrop only) offers experience in invoice processing, daily transaction reconciliation, monthly close processes (Accounting), and budget tracking and management, spend analysis, and generating insights (Finance).
• Operations: Interns will act as a liaison between management and team members, communicating scheduling and coordination matters related to active construction and facilities projects.
• Corporate Affairs (Vegas Only): This role (located in Vegas only) involves conducting research on various business and legal issues and supporting the deal-making process from start to finish, including business model structuring and contract negotiation.
Basic Qualifications: Completed or currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business development is preferred, as is experience supporting a team in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to act urgently, communicate clearly and often, possesses superior organizational skills (including excellent written and verbal communication), initiative in problem-solving, independent work ethic, enthusiasm, and an energetic approach to work. Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously is also highly valued.
