2027 Amazon Operations Finance Rotational Program Summer Internship | Amazon
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Amazon, located in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA. OFRP interns are given significant responsibility to drive both business and financial decisions and deliver results through ownership of an individual intern project. Interns are expected to evaluate and quantify new business ideas and perform data-intensive analyses to drive meaningful change and improvement to the way Amazon serves its customers within the supply chain.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive Resolution: Dive deep into data to support a recommendation and drive resolution for an individual intern project.
• Conduct Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to help identify capital investment requirements or cost reduction opportunities.
• Improve Processes: Partner with operational leadership and frontline associates to identify, develop, and enact process improvements within the supply chain.
• Design Reporting: Design and maintain insightful reporting to enable business partners to take action.
• Communicate Results: Interpret and communicate project results and standard work outputs to Finance, Operations, and other department leaders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in finance, economics, industrial engineering, accounting, supply chain management, operations and information systems, business administration and management, mathematics, or a related field. Must graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Experience: Ability to complete a 12-week summer internship between May and September 2027, working 40 hours per week.
• Skills: Understanding of basic business, accounting, and finance concepts, with working knowledge of Excel and SQL.
• Bonus: Ability to work successfully and deliver results in an ambiguous environment; strong academic, leadership, or extracurricular record; effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; demonstrated track record of using data and metrics to make decisions and build scalable solutions; ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
